En español, el género presenta una dificultad que debemos tener en cuenta a la hora de traducir, especialmente cuando nos dirigimos al jugador, que puede ser tanto masculino como femenino. En este caso, he traducido "welcome" por "hola", para evitar usar "bienvenido y bienvenida".
When translating into Spanish, we need to be aware of the gender that we are using, specially when adressing the player, who can be masculine or femenine. In this case, I have translated "welcome" into "hola", to avoid using "bienvenido y bienvenida".
Cuando traducimos juegos pertenecientes a franquicias ya conocidas, tenemos que tener en cuenta la terminología establecida. En este caso, "Spindash" es el movimiento insignia de Sonic, que en casi todos los juegos de la serie se utiliza en inglés. En la traducción al español vemos que no aparece el espacio entre "pulsado" y "ABAJO"; se trata de un error en el código del cuál se debería informar al desarrollador.
When translating videogames from known franchises, we need to be aware of the stablished terminology. "Spindash", Sonic´s signature move, is rarely translated within the series. We can also observe that, in the Spanish translation, there is no space between "pulsado" and "ABAJO". This is due to a problem with the code and the translator should warn the developer.
